Nazareth
College Arts Center
The Nazareth College Arts Center
has been Rochester's premiere performing arts center for
world-class music, theatre, dance, and family entertainment since
1967. The Arts Center serves as a venue and educational resource
for students, educators, artists, and audiences of all ages to
create, study, and experience the visual and performing arts.
We the People: America Rocks!
Streaming free
through December 31
The
Arts Center is excited to offer a virtual family-friendly
performance to you at NO COST! TheaterWorksUSA, whose
shows for schools and families have been presented in Callahan
Theater countless times, has created a new, fully filmed
production of their American Civics musical, We The People:
America Rocks!
This musical revue
makes social studies exciting and accessible. Children will have
a blast learning about the three branches of government, the
First Amendment, presidential elections, democracy, the judicial
process, and more. Barreling through a variety of musical styles
relevant to today's youth, including rock, rhythm-and-blues, and
hip-hop, We the People instills American pride in audiences of
all ages—and inspires them to get involved and make a
difference.
The show is free for
anyone in New York* to view anytime now through December.

TEACHERS: While
this production covers topics valuable to students at any level,
the show is particularly well-suited for the social studies
curriculum set for grades 4, 5, and 7.
WE THE
PEOPLE for New York state is made possible, in part, by funds
from the New York State Council on the Arts’ Regional Economic
Development Council Initiative with the support of Governor
Andrew M. Cuomo and the New York State Legislature. Thank you to
The Shubert Foundation, The Chanel Family Foundation and all of
our institutional and individual donors for supporting
TheaterWorksUSA.
*Our apologies to members who reside outside NY State but as
this production was supported by funds from the NYS Council on
the Arts free streaming is only being made available to NY
